Pakistan vs West Indies 2nd T20 Highlights – Apr 2, 2018

PAK v WI highlights today – Second twenty/20 from National Stadium, Karachi (Pakistan) Monday 2nd April 2018. Yesterday, first match Pakistan won by 143 runs which is a huge margin. Pakistan had lost the toss and batted first, Pakistan scored 203 runs in 20 overs with five wickets down. Hussain Talat and Asif Ali played on their debut, From West Indies KMA Paul and V Permaul were debutants. Fakhar Zaman scored 39 runs and out when it was 7.1 mix up! And Fakhar’s stranded. Good length on off, and defended towards point. Talat’s ball-watching and doesn’t notice Fakhar halfway down the wicket. He tries to turn, and race back, but to no avail. The throw’s at the top of the stumps, and easy work for the bowler backing up 65/2. Babar Azam contributed 17 runs, Hussain Talat 41, Sarfraz Ahmed (c) † 38, Shoaib Malik 37 and Faheem Ashraf 16. From West Indies, MN Samuels scored 18, KMA Paul 10 and KMA Paul 11, West Indies all out in 13.4 overs with 60 runs. Mohammad Nawaz(3), Mohammad Amir and Shoaib Malik these three bowlers took two wickets each of them, Hasan Ali, Shadab Khan and Hussain Talat these three took one wicket each of them in the first match.

With Veerasammy Permaul’s injury, West Indies are now down to just 12 men on tour, and with the series set to finish tomorrow, there’s no time to fly in a replacement. This essentially means, they can’t afford to lose one or two more to injuries tonight. They’re unchanged. Wes Indies, meanwhile, have handed a debut to Odean Smith in place of the injured Permaul.
