India vs West Indies 3rd ODI Highlights June 30, 2017

Ind v WI highlights today third odi – from Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, North Sound, Antigua (West Indies) Friday 30th June 2017. In the last match WI won the toss and their captain JO Holder decided to bowl first and India scored 310 runs in 43 overs with five down. It was very good total and WI batsmen had reached there even near the target and India won by 105 runs. AM Rahane opener of the Indian team gave brilliant start to his team by scoring 103 runs off 104 deliveries. When his wicket dismissed then it was 33.6 140.9 kph, what’s happened there? A single bail has come out and the other one wobbles before settling down on middle stump. Rahane was shaping for the pull shot. It was short, yes, but perhaps too close. Gets tucked up for room and makes no contact. The ball just about kisses the bail. Barely comes out, but comes out nonetheless, and that is enough 211/2.

Match Timings: 09:00 local time (13:00 GMT)

West Indies won the toss and elected to field

S Dhawan batted also so good, he contributed 63 runs to his team and out, V Kohli captain himself smashed all West Indian bowlers, he scored 87 runs off 66 balls. Other side West Indies KOA Powell opener of their team gone with duck by facing three deliveries. SD Hope tried his best with 81 runs off 88 balls, JO Holder scored 29 and RL Chase 33. Kuldeep Yadav took three wickets, B Kumar took two and R Ashwin got one wicket.

In 15 matches at the Sir Vivian Richards stadium in North Sound, the average run-rate batting first has been 5.05. That roughly translates to an average total of 252. And barring the odd brief shower, the weather is expected to hold up well. India tend to avoid experimenting in ODIs, but considering the potential of Rishabh Pant, who has hit a first-class triple-hundred at nearly run-a-ball, they may make an exception. Considering West Indies dropped Kieran Powell and Jonathan Carter, who have played both ODIs of this series, and replaced them with Kyle Hope and Sunil Ambris, the two uncapped batsmen might just be looking at instant debuts.
